The Family

The Koutsouradis Family hails from the Greek island of Lesvos were Peter grew up learning the woodworking trade during childhood from his father and grandfather and from the very sustainable lifestyle of the mountains and island living. Where high quality work was the only kind worth doing.

Peter Koutsouradis

After serving his compulsory term in the Hellenic Navy as a teen, Peter came to America as an apprentice for his beloved Uncle George's woodworking shop in Queens, NY. Expanding his talents through the city's building booms of the 1970's and 1980's from residential cabinetry to major commercial construction. Peter opened the doors of Mediterranean Contracting Inc. in 1974. Through the decades his growing family flew with the "snowbirds" between NYC and South Florida many times, eventually settling in Boca Raton, all the while training his son in the tools of the trade.

Established in 1986 Peter's Woodwork Inc. has serviced elite neighborhoods in South Florida Area for over 30 years and Peter is proud to pass the torch forward to the 5th generation of craftsmen.

Evangelos Koutsouradis

Evangelos recalls assisting his father as early as the age of 5, continuing work as a carpenter/technician for the family business while he followed his creative streak to New World School of the Arts to study Interior Design and Visual Arts. Though it was in his interest in music that his inherited trade and personal passion overlapped in Audio and Acoustic Engineering. Building acoustic environments lead him to design, build, and own Miami Beach Recording Studios for 15 years. Then following the housing crash of '08, Evangelos joined an intense renovation schedule with Bank Home Realty Inc. remodeling over 200 properties in 4 years.

Evangelos continues to follow the family trade everywhere it takes him, including out to sea with the Miami branch of Italian global marine refit specialist, Precetti Inc. Traveling to over 18 countries building and refitting cabins and suites, wet spaces, public areas, indoor and outdoor restaurants on board cruise ships and ferries for lines such as Carnival, Princess, and Crystal Cruise Lines.
